Program on integration of Georgian Azerbaijanis worked out in Georgia

"Before presidential elections I had spoken of the priority to settle problems of ethnic minorities, residing in Georgia. A special program intended for integration of Georgian Azerbaijanis with the Georgian society, has been worked out".

The due announcement was made by Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili. The head of Georgian state noted that the main issue is the issue of education of the compatriots and definite work is held in this direction.

The President announced that after the issue of education of Georgian Azerbaijanis is settled, the process of their placing in jobs in government bodies will be facilitated, which will promote resolution of their social problems.
