Archaeological monuments established near Maiden Tower

Kamran Imanov, chief of department of the Icheri Sheher reserve said, these are stone findings.

"Numerous historical monuments were found during archaeological diggings in the southwestern part of Icheri Sheher. These are parts of chapiters with various pictures, in particular, of fish, ancient wash-stands and a fragment of a fortress wall.

The said monuments originate from the 13-14th centuries. Ceramic tables with explanations about each finding in Azerbaijani and English languages are established in front of them", he said.
