Culturological magazine "Simurg" presented in Baku

According to the chairman of the Association of Culturologists, culturologist Fuad Mamedov, who delivered a speech during the presentation, this project, which was planned by the Association long ago, is a significant event in the cultural life of our country, which is developing a democratic society and a jural state.

In turn,  Parliamentarian and the chairman on the commission on economy Ziyad Samedzade noted that the magazine will play an important role in the propaganda of Azerbaijani culture abroad.


The welcoming speeches of the president of the National Academy of Science of Azerbaijan, academician Mahmud Kerimov, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev, director of the Russian Institute of Culturology, professor Kirill Razlohov, director of the Saint Petersburg affiliate of the institute, professor Dmitry Spivak, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Kazakhstan Chzhan Siyun are placed on pages of the magazine.

The first issue of the magazine contains articles of the prominent scientists and cultural workers of Azerbaijan-Parliamentarian Ziyad Samedzade, Azerbaijan's ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova, president of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Mahmud Kerimov and others.

The magazine elaborates on the issue of history and theory of world culture and civilization, and aims at formation of correct understanding of culture and its unlimited potential in the development of humanity, society and the state.

The magazine is founded by the Culture Association of Azerbaijan "Simurg" and financed by the center of Islamic Researches "Irshad". The first issue of the magazine is published in 500 editions. It will be published 2-4 times a year.
