Azerbaijan's former Minister of Health to appeal to European Court

An appeal against the decision of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan on the case of the former Health Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Insanov will be filed in the European Court of Grave Crimes.

The due information has been provided by A.Insanov's defender Agaveys Shahverdi.

He said the appeal will be filed in the European Court of Grave Crimes after the document confirming the decision of the Supreme Court is received.

It should be noted that on January 16 the Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Appellate Court against the former Minister of Health.

A.Insanov is sentenced to 11 years in prison with property confiscation.

The Appellate Court of Baku upheld the decision.

The former Minister is kept in correctional ward No 1.
