Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety to appeal to Azerbaijani President regarding establishment of memorial to Elmar Guseynov

The due information has been provided by the chairman of the Institute Emin Guseynov.

He said that according to the response letter, the appeal has been considered in the head department of architecture and town-building of the executive powers of Baku.

According to the letter, only after the adoption of the due resolutions about the immortalization of prominent figures, composers, artists and other citizens, who have special contributions, do the Executive Power initiate their execution.

E.Guseynov noted that an appeal with a request to establish a memorial to Elmar Guseynov will soon be sent to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
