Azerbaijan's embassy to Turkey to hold events on anniversary of January 20 tragedy

The Embassy of Azerbaijan to Turkey will hold various events on the 18th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy, according to the sources from the Embassy.

Materials on the tragedy will be sent to Turkey's Foreign Ministry and embassies of foreign countries accredited in Turkey.

These materials have been prepared and presented to the local media and agreement on presenting information about the tragedy in newspapers was attained.

The program on the events of 20 January 1990 in Azerbaijani language will be transmitted on TRT by the initiative of the Embassy on January 17.

The live broadcast will last one hour and at the same time it will be transmitted on Az.TV- Radio and Public TV-Radio.

The event will be held with participation of Azerbaijani students and Azerbaijanis living in Turkey in the embassy on January 18.
