Major league of Azerbaijan's football championship to be renamed Premier League

Various alterations and additions were introduced to the AFFA charter at its urgent session yesterday.

According to the AFFA website, in particular, the Professional Football League of Azerbaijan was created.

It will comprise the clubs of the Premier League (the former Major league of the country's championship) and the first division (former First league).
