One of leaders of Iranian Azerbaijanis Abbas Lisani faces new charges

The due information has been provided by Sadig Isabeyli, chairman of the Center of Research and Information of the Independence Party of South Azerbaijan.

He said the activist is charged with the organization of the action, conducted near Bagirkhan's burial in Tebriz in 2005.

Isabeyli noted that by this action Lisani demanded from Iranian powers to open schools and issue newspapers and magazines in Azerbaijani.
