Azerbaijani Diaspora marks Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis

The event held in one of the great cultural palaces of Vilnius was attended in Azerbaijani ambassador to Lithuania Naira Shahtakhtinskaya, Ministers of Lithuania, senior officials and over 400 representative of Azerbaijani Diaspora.

Chairman of Azerbaijani Diaspora to Lithuania Sadikh Nurullayev addressing the event spoke about the activity of Lithuanian Azerbaijanis, measures taken and further plans.

Several Diaspora representatives were awarded with diplomas and medals for achievements in sport, public activity and other fields.

Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis was also marked in Hague, Netherlands.

The event inspired by the Union of Azerbaijani Women of Europe Ana Veten was attended by Fuad Humbatov, first secretary of Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgium and Luxemburg and honorary president of Coordination Council of Azerbaijani organizations of Benelux, as well as representatives of Diaspora's organizations in Belgium.
