Work Group for Combat with Corruption established under Azerbaijan's Education Ministry

"The group is created within the framework  of the State Program for Combat with Corruption in Azerbaijan", member of the group Enver Imanov said.

"A decree on the activity of our group, with participation of NGOs, dealing with education, has been signed by the Education Minister this year. The work group includes 11 nongovernmental organization, and it has a hot line to accept information about facts of corruption in schools", he noted.

E.Imanov announced that trainings teaching to prevent corruption in educational institutions are arranged in the Institute for Raising Teachers' Skills. The work group members attend systematic monitoring in educational establishments, whose results are then delivered to public.
