Azerbaijan's Economic Development Ministry to provide assistance to Azerbaijani Diaspora in Europe

Namig Agamirov, president of the Сongress of Azerbaijanis in Europe (CAE) and member of the Directors' Board of the Coordination Council of World Azerbaijanis Congress, visiting Baku, met with the Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Heydar Babayev.

The meeting participants discussed the CAE Plan of Actions for 2007-2009.

N.Agamirov reported on the activity of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Europe and stressed that the Plan of Actions will help inform Europe about Azerbaijan.

The document reflects socioeconomic projects, implemented in Azerbaijan, as well as the issue of encouragement of foreign investments into the economy of our country.

H.Babayev, in turn, expressed readiness to support the activity of the congress and undertake steps, envisioned by the Plan of Actions.

 He said the activity of the congress which aims to inform the European community about the economic potential of Azerbaijan, is worthy of approval.

The Minister set due instructions for organization of assistance to the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Europe.
