Azerbaijani judoists win 116 awards in 2007

Azerbaijani judoists have won 35 golden, 33 silver, and 48 bronze medals in the European and World championships, World Cup Contests and international tournaments this year.


7 out of 116 medals were gained in the European and World Championships.

6 medals were gained in the continent championship. Another silver medal was obtained in the World Championship among men.

Our ring masters won 6 golden, 6 silver and 12 bronze medals in the World Cup Contests, 4 golden medals in European Olympic Festival among teenagers and 1 golden medal in World Student Games.

23 golden, 24 silver and 33 bronze medals were won in other international tournaments.
