Appeal filed against court decision on journalists

Though the appeal was filed two days ago, the judge has not been determined yet, chief of Sedagetoglu's rights defense committee Raset Pirisoyu told the APA.

Samir Sedagetoglu and Rafig Tagi faced charges under articles 283 (stirring up national, racial and religious enmity) of the Criminal Code and Sabail district court sentenced them to three and four years correspondingly. They were sentenced for the article entitled "Europe and we" published in Senet newspaper on November, 2006.
