CEC to move to new office

New office is being built for the Central Election Commission (CEC), the chief of CEC Mazahir Panahov said.

He said that ten-storey building will be built in Binagadi district. The building will be constructed by 2008 presidential elections and CEC will move there.

Panahov also publicized the results of the CEC inspections in election constituencies. He said only 21 out of 125 election constituencies have building for normal work. Panahov said they appealed to president's Office and the problem is about opt be solved. He said new buildings are being constructed for 52 election constituencies. Project has been made up for 15 elections constituencies and new buildings were given to 6 election constituencies, 22 are being reconstructed, APA reports.
