Former PM's brother sentenced to 13 years

Asif Huseynov was charged under Articles 179.2.1 (misappropriation), 179.3.1 (misappropriation and squandering) and 278 (forceful seize of power) of the Criminal Code.

The indictment says Asif Huseynov, who worked as the chief of the storage and chief of the office at Samukh region Cotton Stock from January 1, 1993 to October 10, 1994 misappropriated 36.821 kg of cotton in concert with Ilgar Zeynalov.
