Azeri handball squad agrees to join Challenge Cup

Azerbaijan Handball Federation (AHF) officials participated in 31st International Handball Federation congress in Madrid, Spain.

AHF vice-president Kazim Gulmammedov and manager Ernest Agakishi represented Azerbaijan. The officials confirmed the participation of Azeri men's squad in Challenge Cup to be held in October in Scotland.

It was decided at the congress to allow 12 men and 12 women teams to qualify for Beijing Olympics. 2004 Athens Olympics admitted 10 man and 10 women teams. APA-Sport
