Azeri football veterans to appeal to President Aliyev

Azerbaijani football veterans received team's 0-5 defeat by Poland in European championship qualifying with deep anger.

Neftchi Veterans Football Club president Ogtay Abdullayev told APA-Sport that Azeri football is in a serious crisis now and the veteran players will discuss to find the way out.

"If Azeri team loses the encounter against Finland in Baku, we will pass a concrete decision together. Perhaps, we will appeal to Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev and Youth and Sport Ministry," he said.
