Baloglan Ashrafov to undergo surgery Wednesday

Ashrafov's cousin Igbal Guliyev told the APA that they have at least found donor. 48-year old Turkish citizen agreed to be his donor.

Guliyev said that Azerbaijani Health Ministry should give official consent.

"We have talked to Deputy Health Minister Elsever Agayev. We were told not to worry. The hospital should receive the letter of permission today. If they receive the letter Baloglan Ashrafov will be operated tomorrow," he said.

Health Ministry press secretary Anar Gedirli told the APA that official letter of permission has already been sent to Memorial hospital.

The singer told the APA that he feels well. "I feel well. I am being cured. AzTV will broadcast my concert on March 18. I ask them to broadcast it though I am not in Azerbaijan," the singer said.
