Akif Muradverdiyev gives testimony

Akif Murdaverdiyev gave testimony and the next legal procedure has been fixed to March 5.

Muradverdiyev was sentenced to 6 years in the trial presided by the Judge of the Court of Grave Crimes Tofig Pashayev. Akif Muradverdiyev faced charges on Article 179.3.2 (embezzlement), 308.2 (abuse of power), 311 (bribing), 313 (fraud) of the Criminal Code. The investigation into the case on charges under Article 28.278 (staging coup) and 28.220 (coup attempt) of the Criminal Code continues.

Akif Muradverdiyev is being cured in the medical place of Penitentiary Service, APA reports.
