Nushirevan Meherremli: "We will demand to show foreign films in Azerbaijani"

He told APA 80-85% films are dubbed in Public television. 70-80% of foreign films are shown in Azerbaijani language in four channels of the country. Meherremli noted that Lider and ANS also show most foreign films in Azerbaijani.

"This indicator is 50-55% in ATV and Space TV. These channels have no dubbing studio. But we will demand all channels to display foreign films in Azerbaijani no matter if they have dubbing studio or not," he underscored.

NTRC will pass a decision banning display of films (feature, documentary, animated) in foreign languages in the first ten day of March.
