Misir Mardanov: "Educational institutions will be supplied with computers for five more years"

"The educational institutions will be supplied with computers for five more years," Azerbaijan's Education Minister Misir Mardanov told journalists after the meeting held in Ganja with the participation of the chiefs of educational institutions.

He said that not only secondary schools, but also higher educational institutions will be computerized.

"Special interest will be attached to process of accession to the internet. Local nets and to link them are expected to be established in each educational institutions. E-school project will be implemented and information communication technologies will be widely applied," the minister said, APA's Western bureau reports.
