Police officer shoots his neighbor dead

Police officer Vugar Orujov shot at his neighbor Rufet Allahverdiyev in Ganja city of Azerbaijan.

The incident happened on Wednesday at 2000 hrs due to Orujov's careless use of his service automatic pistol. Seriously wounded Allahverdiyev died in the hospital at 05.00 today.

A criminal case was launched on Article 124.1 (murder) of the Criminal Code. Orujov was detained and the investigation is under way, investigator of Ganja prosecutor's office Elshen Mammadov told the APA.
