ICRC representatives visit captured Samir Mammedov

On Tuesday the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Yerevan visited Azerbaijani soldier Samir Mammadov, who was captured by Armenian militants on December 24, 2006.

ICRC Azerbaijani Office public affairs department official Gulnaz Guliyeva told the APA this was their 10th meeting with Mammadov. The Committee representatives delivered the letter of his family to the soldier.

Samir Mammadov, soldier in a military unit in Gazakh region, was drafted from Berde Military Registration Office. He was captured in Gazakh-Ijevan border. He had no ammunition with him.
