Over 20 Azerbaijanis beaten in Nizhni Novgorod

The information spread by Muslims' Religious Department of Nizhni Novgorod province, two women who presented themselves as the officers of Prosecutor's Office came to the caf? and had dinner on February 8.

The women refused to pay for dinner and after they have left the cafe two men came in. These persons splashed tear gas on Azerbaijanis working in the cafe.

Later over 20 riot squads began to beat our compatriots and poured hot water on them after beating. Five Azerbaijanis were taken to hospital in bad condition but the doctors refused to help them.

And they were taken to detention ward of internal affairs department. Though our compatriots appealed to prosecutor's office, their appeal was rejected. On that day one more Azerbaijani was beaten by skinheads and was hospitalized being heavily injured, APA reports.
