Number of kindergartens in Baku to be reduced

The organization continued its monitoring though it was suspended due to the holidays. Logistics of the kindergartens and their problems are taken into consideration. All 348 kindergartens in Baku will be monitored. 50 percent of them have been monitored up to now. The number of kindergartens will be reduced depending on the results of the monitoring. The directors of some kindergartens may be punished.

As a result of monitoring in schools, 8 directors were discharged, 7 directors were given reprimands and 13 ones were warned. They will also be dismissed if any shortcomings are uncovered during the monitoring after six months. APA
