Mehriban Aliyeva re-elected president of Gymnastics Federation

Youth and Sport Minister, NOC vice-president Azad Rahimov, other vice-presidents of the NOC Chingiz Huseynzadeh and Khazar Isayev participated in the conference.

AGF vice-president Altay Hasanov made a report. He spoke about the federation’s activity in the past 4 years and the gymnasts' successes in the international tournaments.

Stressing that there are a lot talented gymnasts in our republic, such as Dinara Gimatova, Anna Gurbanova, Aliye Gurbaniova, Zeyneb Javadli, vice-president also touched upon the problems.

Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov highly estimated the activity of AGF and said that he wants Mehriban Aliyeva to be re-elected president of the federation.

Mehriban Aliyeva was again chosen AGF president for 4 years.

Farid Gayibov was chosen secretary general of the federation; Rauf Aliyev, Rafig Behbudov and Arif Gafarov were chosen the members of the Administrative Board, Mirjamal Pashayev, Vadim Shneyer and Elshad Narimanov were chosen the members of the Inspection Commission, APA reports.
