AFFA possible to support Lennart Johansson

The candidates to the presidency are already known. Lennart Johansson's opponent is one of the famous football players Michel Platini. Platini sent letter to Turkey Football Federation chief Haluk Ulusoy and asked him to vote for him at the elections.

Azerbaijan Football Federation Association Information and Public Relations department told the APA that Platini and Johansson have not appealed to the AFFA yet. The official of the APA also did not rule out the fact that AFFA president Ramiz Mirzeyev will not support Platini at the elections.

"As far as I know, AFFA supported Johansson at the last elections and suppose that the same will happen in this time too," he said.

It should be noted that, UEFA First vise-president Shenes Erzik also support Johansson.

AFFA former president Togrul Hajiyev confirmed the fact that AFFA supported Johansson last time. Saying that Johansson got older and he work will not be effective, Togrul Hajiyev said that Platini is younger and good at football.
