Education Minister denies info on pupils smoking

The minister stated that 301 schools function in Baku and in general 357859 pupils study there, 168.910 of them are girls and 119000 are the pupils of the primary school. "It turns out that the majority of them smoke. This is impossible," the minister said.

He stressed the importance of holding monitorings by neutral organizations in order to determine the exact percentage of the smokers. But the minister expressed dissatisfaction about the propaganda against smoking.
