National Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis in Russia Azerbaijan (Azerros) prevented the deportation of ten Azerbaijanis from Russia, Soyun Sadigov, the president of Azerros stated.

Sadigov said that something was wrong with their documents. He added that deportation case of two Azerbaijanis will be discussed in the court tomorrow; the lawyers of Azerros will take part in the court sitting.

He also stated that Russia law enforcement bodies started raids in the markets, APA reports.

"The deportation of Georgia Azerbaijanis began. Our lawyers help them by participating in the sittings," Sadigov said.

Sadigov said Russia began to deport not only Georgians and Azerbaijanis, but also Armenians and Central Asians.

"Three Azerbaijani were deported from Russia together with 15 Georgian. They are neither Azerbaijanis, nor Russia citizen. They have post Soviet passports," Sadigov said.
