Abiyev nominated for World Boxing Federation General Secretary

World Boxing Federation (WBF) Executive Committee meeting will be held tomorrow, Agajan Abiyev, Azerbaijan Boxing Federation (ABF) president, Azerbaijan Physical Culture and Sport Academy rector told.

Heads of about 20 federations will take part in the meeting which is going to be held in Absheron hotel.

He said two issues will be discussed in the meeting of Executive Committee. The first is about the old protocols and the second is about the changes concerning the next World Boxing Championship and Olympic Games.

Abiyev said that the next meeting of WBF will be held in November, APA reports.

Abiyev will be nominated for the WBF General Secretary post in the congress which will be held in Santa-Domingo, the capital of Dominican Republic.
