Court of Grave Crimes today continued the trial of the gang led by Haji Mammadov, former high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.

26 members of the gang stand trial presided by judge Ali Seyfaliyev.

In today's trial hearing Public Prosecutor Abdulla Yusifov asked questions to Haji Mammadov.

Mammadov said he did not know "Azermebel" Industrial Concern president Nazim Pashayev, who was kidnapped and murdered by his gang before.

"He was likely to know Absheron Police Office Chief but not me," he said.

He also commented on Eldar Rahimov's testimony on following of Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev’s brother Yashar Babayev.

"Eldar made up story about following of Yashar Babayev aiming to divert the court's attention.
The Public prosecutor asked questions to Haji Mammadov about the Boris Eyyubov's photos where he had rest with his gang in the country house found in his flat. “I know the owner of the house and was in that country house. Gang members Nizami Abdullayev, Farhad Mammadov and Rovshan Aghayev knew about the pictures. I told them to inform me when they see the men in the picture. Because, after Eyyubov's death his gang members declared war against me."

To the response to the question about criminalist Rovshan Aliyev's murder order Mammadov said there is time to everything.

Then defendant Rahimov answered the questions of prosecutor Beshir Jafarov and kidnapped Javid Manafov's father. He said he was not involved in this case.

The trial will continue today, APA reports.
