Interior Ministry officials leave for Ganja due to Road Police Chief's death

"Ganja Road Police Chief Ikram Khalilov had no fault in the quarrel. He made a car violating traffic regulation stop. But he was badly beaten," Interior Minister Ramil Usubov said.

He said a criminal case was initiated and investigation was underway on the fact.

Deputy Interior Minister Oruj Zalov and main Traffic Police Chief Ramiz Zeynalov left for Ganja today, APA reports.

Ganja Traffic Police Chief Ikram Khalilov was beaten by a driver Zabit Kazimov and died in the hospital.

Kazimov and a Perviz Mammadov who was in the site were detained. A Criminal Case under article 126.1 was initiated.
