Poultry fair held in Sumgait

The fair which started at about 10:00 in the morning continued to 19:00. The organizers of the fair are the Poultry-Breeders' Society of the Republic, Ministry of Economic Development and Sumgait city Executive Power.

As the Chair of the Poultry-Breeders' Society of the Republic Aydin Veliyev told, 22 of 25 members of the Society were taking part in the fair: "The purchasing capacity is very high in the fair. Unlike the first fair held in Baku, poultry-breeders are ready this time. In parallel with goods on sale, there are reserve products in cars."

Clients attending the fair mostly buy products of Merdekan Broiler Limited Liability Company (LLC) and Siazan Broiler.

It should be noted that 1 egg was sold for AZM 250, 1 kg of fowl for AZM 9000. The aim of the fair is to restore people's belief in fowl and eggs after the Bird flu disease and establish direct connections between producers and consumers.
