14-year-old Azerbaijani wins Northern Iceland chess championship

Azerbaijani chess player Ulker Hasanova is among the leaders in the chess championship in Iceland.

As APA reports, the State Committee on work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad told that our compatriot living in Iceland, Azeri Society member, Ulker Hasanova, joined the chess championship in March and became the champion of Northern Iceland.

14-year-old Ulker has been Northern Iceland champion for 22 times and winner of the school tournaments 19 times.
