Culture of 27 countries presented in Azerbaijan

On Thursday the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Turkish Chag Oyretim Ishletmeleri Company, Azerbaijani Education Ministry, Culture and Tourism Ministry organized "Azerbaijan - crossing of different cultures" event in the framework of the same name program at the Azerbaijani State Philarmonia, Trend reports.

Anar Alakbarov, the chief executive of the Foundation, read out Aliyeva's message to the participants of the event. The UN GoodWill Ambassador mentioned in the address that Azerbaijan, the historically crossing of the East and the West, always was respectful to different cultures. Tolerance formed in the country over centuries. The implementation of similar program and the organization of the exhibition, presenting traditions and cultures of 27 countries of the world with embassies functioning in Azerbaijan, is an evidence of respect of the Azerbaijani people to human values and different cultures.

In his remarks, Abulfaz Garayev, the Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister, highly appreciated the significance of the program and noted that it was aimed at further closing and development of the friendly relations between peoples and nations. Garayev underlined the role of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Turkish Chag Oyretim Ishletmeleri Company in the realization of such important initiative. Misir Mardanov, the Azerbaijani Education Minister, attached great significance to the event in the period of world globalization. According to Mardanov, the program calls on people to equality and peace.

Adem Onem, the Director of Chag Oyretim Ishletmerleri Company, said that the culture dialogue, founded in Azerbaijan, must become an example for all countries. He especially mentioned the role of Aliyeva in the implementation of the projects in Azerbaijan, aimed at upbringing and education of the young generation.

"Hand in hand for happy world" movie and staging of the pupils of Chag Oyretim Ishletmerli were demonstrated at the solemn party with the participation of foreign Ambassadors, Azerbaijani MPs and prominent public figures. Besides, the organizers of the event held the exhibition displaying cultures of 27 countries of the world at the State Philarmonia.
