China bans Azeri poultry products

The decision was made in relation to revealing of Bird Flu in these countries, Trend reports referring to the news release by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China.

the General Administration postponed issue of licenses on import of living bird and poultry products. The earlier-issued licenses were annulled. The messages also underlined importance of intensification of medical control at check-points, examination of luggage, as well as mail.

The ban was also imposed in regard to Kuwait, Cyprus, Italy, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Iran, France and Egypt.
