Headquarters to control Bird Flu in Lenkeran

As APA reports, Mr. Huseynov said that the Mayor Suleyman Mikayilov supervises the measures against Bird Flu. Five operative headquarters were established under Mr. Mikayilov decree. This headquarters include experts of health, veterinary and other departments. Raids are made on the city central market, Baku-Astara highway, seashore areas and other trade objects.

Observation of bans imposed on selling of living fowls and fowl products, as well as hunting and selling of migratory birds are examined every day.

"Hot line" was organized at Region Veterinary Service and operative headquarters. Discovered dead birds are burned. Stressing Bird Flu not found in Lenkeran up to now, Mr. Huseynov said that required disinfection and other equipments were brought to the region.
