As APA reports, the singer doesn't blame herself for not being among the first three contestants and added she would leave Belarus soon: "I am going to continue my carrier in another country. But, I have not made decision yet."
Ms. Abbasova's parents are from Guba, Azerbaijan. She was born in Belarus in 1979. She says she has contacts with Azerbaijan: "I got to know Azerbaijan-Belarus Community in Minsk in 1998. I was invited to an Azerbaijani organization "Gobustan" to act solo-vocal and I've been acting on professional stage since 1998. I have not been to Azerbaijan for about 6 years. But I'd like to live and go on with my carrier in Azerbaijan".
Ms. Abbasova stated that she has been invited to Azerbaijan several times: "I will think of carrier in Azerbaijan". Abbasova said that she sang a lot of Turkish and Azerbaijani songs and actually expects invitation: "We have been holding traditional festival "Eastern confectionaries" in Minsk for many years. Azerbaijani musicians also attend the festival. We perform a two-hour program in the festival, and we are going to show this program in Azerbaijan too".
Ms. Abbasova says she knows everything about Azerbaijan, and she always considers herself Azerbaijani: "Though I was apart from Azerbaijan, I breathe with Azerbaijan. It might be seen in my activity".
Gunesh Abbasova is called "Golden voice of Belarus". She was awarded in "Malvi-2000" competition among young singers in Poland in 2000, won a diploma of "More druzey" international contest in Yalta in 2001, a diploma of "Discovery" international modern song contest in Varna, Bulgaria in 2003. She is one of the five vocalists of Europe, winner of "Grand Prix" in "Yantarnaya zvezda" international contest in Yurmala, Latvia in 2003, the first winner of "Yalta-2003" international contest.
Ms. Abbasova was also the the 2nd winner of "Slavyanski bazar" in Vitebsk, Belarus in 2005.
