Heads of Azeri municipalities are invited to Strasburg

"The heads of the working group on establishment of the National Association of Azerbaijani Municipalities (NAAM) are invited to the next sitting of the CE Congress of Local and Regional Authorities to be held in Strasburg, France, from 23 to 24 February," Caroline Martin, the head of the project, also representative of the Secretariat of the Congress, stated during the second sitting of the working group on Thursday.

She noted that during the forthcoming sitting they would hold overhaul discussions on development of institutions of local governing, establishment of Action Code of the Congress, as well as its support methods.

"Similar events establish favorable opportunity for study of wide experience of the Congress," she stressed. Martin said that Gulnaz Salmanova, the deputy head of the working group, will deliver a speech on establishement of NAAM.

It should be mentioned that the invitations on participation in the event will be sent to Tahir Guliyev, the head of the group, as well as his deputies Gulnaz Salmanova, Shamistan Yusifov and Ramil Mustafayev, Trend reports.
