PA CIS plans to hold a meeting on diabetes in Azerbaijan

"The Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independence States (PA CIS) plans to hold an international meeting on diabetes in Azerbaijan from October to November," said Aydin Jafarov, the Azerbaijani delegate to PA CIS.

Jafarov noted that the agreement was achieved during the next meeting of PA CIS, staged in St.Petersburg on 2 February. He also said that Azerbaijan was the only CIS country, adopted state program and law on diabetes. "Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia adopt this law just now. Therefore, PA CIS proposed to hold the meeting in Azerbaijan," he told Trend.
