“Discover Japan through contemporary posters” exhibition opened

Ambassador Tadehiro Abe and minister of Culture Polad Bulbuloglu addressed the exhibition organized by Ministry of Culture and embassy of Japan in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The ambassador said that culture is many-sided in Japan there is both traditional and modern art: “Today’s exhibition is an example of modern art, it will acquaint you with modern life in Japan’.

Polad Bulbuloglu called posters a special kind of painting. The minister said that he has already acquainted himself with posters and see the subject concern Japanese painters. 75 posters of 38 painters are exhibited in the exhibition to last till January 30.

This mobile exhibition had been exhibited in France, Croatia, Greek, Serbia, Slovakia, Finland and Norway before in Azerbaijan and will go to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan afterward.
