"Barmek" turns plug off for debtors in Khachmaz district

The operator of the energy distribution networks of Baku and Sumgayit "Barmek Azerbaijan" on Thursday started measures against debtors in northeastern regions.

Subscribers are notified of the forthcoming measures. "40,000 residents of the Khachmaz district are indebted to the regional branch of the company in the amount of 8 billion manats. The employees of Barmek Azerbaijan will cut off energy supply depending on the amount of debt," warns Barmek.

The collection of energy payment is expected to rise by 15-20%.
