About 6000 patients of tuberculosis in Azerbaijan

Short length feature film was displayed which was dedicated to fight against tuberculosis. Specialists invited to the measure gave wide information about disease of tuberculosis.

Specialist on infectious disease, Elnara Muradova said that, at present every one person out of three suffer from this disease. Every year, thousands of men die of it. In scientific literature, this disease which was known as "tuberculosis", detailed information about it appeared in 18 century. Viruses of tuberculosis were first found in 1782:"Very often, in 92-93 percent of people spread this disease themselves." Latest time, new type of virus was discovered which is called "naughty" and this new type differs from the previous one for its specific features.

According to E.Muradova's words, latest times fight against tuberculosis was improved. For this purpose president of the country Ilham Aliyev signed series of documents in relation with it. /APA/
