“ASAN Xidmet” presented in Dubai

As earlier reported, the World Government Summit is underway in Dubai from February 8 to 10. It brings together more than 150 governments and international organizations to share knowledge and experiences in the efforts to improve government work and offer better services to humanity.

A delegation led by chairman of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov attends the summit.

The summit is attended by more than 3,000 participants, including a number of heads of states, governments and international organizations, dignitaries and experts from the government and private sectors across the world.

In the framework of the World Government Summit, a series of meetings and sessions were held to discuss ways to implement the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Addressing this panel, chairman of the Azerbaijan State Agency Inam Kerimov spoke of the importance of public services reforms carried out in Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. He, in particular made large presentation on successful activity of ASAN-Xidmet in the country.

The summit was later addressed by Mahmoud Mohieldin, the World Bank's Senior Vice President, Mrs. Kathy Calvin, President and Chief Executive Officer of the United Nations Foundation, Mrs. Eili Lepic (Estonia).

Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Dubai Parviz Ismayilzade took part at the summit.
