Autumn is not in a hurry to reach Azerbaijan. Forecasters predict that October in Azerbaijan is expected to be close to the climate norm, and sometimes exceeding it.

In Baku and the Absheron peninsula, the average monthly temperature will stand between 16 and 18 degrees C above zero. At night the weather will vary between 12 and 17 degrees C above zero, while during the day, it will hover at around 22-27 C.

The average monthly temperature in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic will be between 15-18 C above zero, at night it will drop to 9-14 degrees C above zero, and during the days 16-20 C.

In the Khankandi, Shusha, Khojali, Lachin, Zangilan, Dashkasan and Gadabay regions of Upper Karabakh, the average monthly temperature is predicted to be 8-12 degrees. During days the temperature will be 15-20 C, while at nights it will be 6-11 C.

An average monthly temperature of 14-17 degrees C above zero will cover Ganja, Gazakh, Terter, Agdam, Fuzuli and Jabrail regions of Azerbaijan, reaching up to 27 degrees during the day.

Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, Ismailli, Shamakhi, Shabran, Guba, Gusar and Khachmaz regions will see average temperatures of 13-16 degrees C. During the days the temperature could reach 18-23 C, while at nights it will drop to at 8-13 C.

The forecast predicts that the temperature in Central Aran -- Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Geychay, Agdash, Kurdamir, Imishli, Beylagan, Sabirabad, Shirvan, Bilasuvar, Saatli, Neftchala and Salyan -- will be close to the normal. During the days, the temperature will be 23-28 degrees C, whereas at nights 12-17 degrees C.

In the southern regions of Masalli, Yardimli, Lerik and Astara, the monthly average temperature will be 15-18 degrees C. The estimated temperature during these days will stand between 23-28 degrees C, while the nights will naturally be cooler at 16-21 degrees C.
