Armenia’s provocations on the contact line of the Armenian-Azerbaijani troops know no bounds.

In line with aggravating tension with increased ceasefire breaches, the Armenian Armed Forces now resorts destabilization of situation on the frontline with deliberate fires.

The Armenians once again committed arsons in occupied Bash Gervend village of Azerbaijan’s Aghdam region on August 11.

Local media reported that the fire was recorded in Bayramlar village, which is part of the Bash Gervend territorial unit.

The fire in the center of the destroyed settlement, which is under Armenians occupation, could be seen from the territories near the frontline.

Border villages in the Aghdam region frequently face such destructive acts by Armenian soldiers.

The Armenian Armed Forces often commits large-scale arsons in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, particularly in the summer.

Earlier in June, Armenian forces set fire to the areas on the frontline near Azerbaijan’s Tartar region.

A large number of wild animals in the area of the fire fled to the nearby villages, escaping the flames.

Such attacks are indicators that the Armenian leadership deliberately seeks to cause harm to Azerbaijan and its people by making life at the border difficult and risky.

Further risks arise from fleeing rodents and poisonous snakes, which flock to lowland areas in the country and enter private farms and fields to escape the flames.

Arsons have thus far caused immeasurable damage to flora and fauna. Armenians have deliberately set fires in the spring and summer months when crops are cultivated and harvested, with the aim of adversely affecting agriculture in the villages along the front line.
