Inclusive education set to start

Azerbaijan will implement inclusive education in Baku's two secondary schools for the first time.

Mikail Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s’ education minister made the remark during the opening ceremony of manual work students of the boarding school on June 4.

The minister said the application of inclusive education has two main goals. One of them is socialization. As a result of inclusive education, students receiving education in ordinary schools will be able to integrate society as full members.

Another goal is related to the educational process. Inclusive education ambitions to provide all - including children with disabilities, access to education.
