KPMG in Azerbaijan once again sponsors Azerbaijan Foreign MBA Club meeting

On 16 April, Baku was once again the venue for the Azerbaijan Foreign MBA Club meeting, with KPMG in Azerbaijan sponsoring the event. The number of Club participants increases at each event: this professional community not only offers opportunities to establish business relationships with experts from various sectors of economy, but also provides a platform for discussing the topical business issues. This time, the event was attended by over 40 guests - entrepreneurs, top-managers, leaders and executives from various companies and governmental organisations.

The founders of the Club are Ilham Mehraliyev, SOCAR employee, Sanan Nasibli, Head of Representative Office of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Azerbaijan, and Arif Zeynalov, Senior Director at Rabitabank.

Sanan Nasibli, one of the founders of the Club, acted as moderator of the meeting. Vugar Aliyev, Managing Partner, KPMG in Azerbaijan, welcomed the guests; after that, Farid Akhundov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pasha Bank, shared his views on the business outlook for Azerbaijan and the approach to corporate governance.

The Club members actively participated in the discussion, including after the end of the official part of the event; some ideas on the format, theme and special guests for the next meetings of the Club were introduced as well.
