Strong winds to reign in Baku till evening

After a warm sunny weather dominated in the country’s capital, Baku on April 19, strong winds will surely darken residents' mood.

Although the winds will not cause any material damages, those residents who hoped to change to lighter clothing will have to wait for a more clement weather.

The strong winds did not affect flights from Heydar Aliyev International Airport, AZAL said on April 20.

For April 20 weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will be cloudy but without precipitations. The weather will stand at 15-18 degrees C during the day and 7-9 degrees C at night.

Fortunately forecasters have good news, as the unfavorable winds will die down in the evening.

The weather in the country’s regions will also be stable. Precipitations are not expected, while fog will cover some regions.

Temperatures are expected to remain in between 18 and 23 degrees C during the day and 8-13 degrees C at night. In the mountain areas the temperature will stand in between 10 and 18 during a day, while night will see a temperature of (3-8) degrees.
