Azerbaijan, Qatar discuss cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov has met Minister of Transport of the State of Qatar Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti.

Mr. Heydarov stressed the importance of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Qatar on cooperation in the field of management of emergency situations signed last year.

He also highlighted the activities of the Ministry.

Qatari Minister Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti hailed wide potential for cooperation between the two countries, and stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of strengthening relations between the relevant authorities of Azerbaijan and Qatar.

The sides also exchanged views over issues of mutual interest.
